Spider Monkey Leather was started as a response to being unable to find leather bombproof sheaths that were simple and clean in design.  Barbie started Spider Monkey Leather in the Winter of 2018.

 

All sheaths are made from 7/8 ounce vegetable tanned or English Bridle leather and saddle stitched by hand using an awl, needle and 1.2mm Ritza Tiger Thread from Germany .  The sheaths, like the knives, are clean, simple and built to last.  Every piece is made one at a time and entirely by hand.  If you have a knife (Bush Monkey or otherwise) and want a Spider Monkey Leather sheath or other leather good/accessorie, coordinate with Barbie using the contact form on this website.

• Leather - Black, Chocolate (dark brown) & Natural Oil finish (tan)

• Thread - Black,  Wheat, Red, Yellow & Blue

• I can stamp the piece with the Spider Monkey Leather stamp at my discretion or anywhere on the piece you would like it.
